A statement issued by the Justitia et Pax Commission of the Croatian Conference of Bishops (CCB) on the occasion of the upcoming regular elections for members of the Croatian Parliament, entitled To Preserve the Dignity of the Political and Constitutional Legal Order of the State, was presented on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the headquarters of the Croatian Conference of Bishops in Zagreb.

On March 11, 2024, Pope Francis accepted the resignation of the first bishop of Požega, Msgr. Antun Škvorčević, and appointed Msgr. Ivo Martinović as the new bishop.

On Monday, March 11, 2024, the Press Office of the Holy See announced that Pope Francis has appointed Msgr. Petar Antun Rajić as Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Italy and the Republic of San Marino.

On November 16, at a press conference held following the 67th Ordinary Plenary Session of the Assembly of the Croatian Conference of Bishops, the new vice president of the Croatian Conference of Bishops, Archbishop Đuro Hranić of Đakovo-Osijek, stressed the importance of a long-term demographic policy that would not depend upon which party is in power.

The 67th Plenary Session of the Assembly of the Croatian Conference of Bishops (CCB) was held at the CCB headquarters in Zagreb from November 14 to 16, 2023, and chaired by the President of the CCB, Archbishop Dražen Kutleša.

The Croatian bishops have established the National Office of the Croatian Conference of Bishops (CCB) for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Adults, which consolidates the work of the Commission for the Protection of Minors and Metropolitan Offices, as announced at the Press Conference following the 67th Ordinary Plenary Session of the Assembly of the CCB.

On November 16, Archbishop Đuro Hranić of Đakovo-Osijek, Auxiliary Bishop Mijo Gorski of Zagreb and Auxiliary Bishop Ivan Ćurić of Đakovo-Osijek held a press conference at the end of the 67th Plenary Session of the Assembly of the Croatian Conference of Bishops.

On Saturday, September 30, in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the beatification of Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac, Archbishop Dražen Kutleša of Zagreb celebrated Mass at the Croatian National Shrine of Our Lady of Bistrica in Marija Bistrica.

On Sunday, October 2, in commemoration of the twenty-fifty anniversary of the beatification of Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac, a presentation was held in the Parish of the Most Holy Trinity, Krašić, of a book by Bojan Ivešić, M.S., and Mass was celebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Croatia, Archbishop Giorgio Lingua.

On Friday, September 8, 2023, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Francis appointed Msgr. Zdenko Križić, O.C.D., heretofore Bishop of Gospić-Senj, as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Split-Makarska.
