Zagreb, (IKA) – Prior to the celebration of the Mass with Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday, June 5, at the Zagreb Hippodrome, there was a preliminary program entitled “The Family – Together in Christ,” which included prayer and the testimonies of several families.
A musical program entitled “Adam, Where Are You?” was performed by four actors, the youth choir of the Zagreb Parish of the Queen of the Holy Rosary of Zagreb and the children’s choir Little Magic Flutes (Čarobne frulice) of the Parish of the Holy Rosary of Zagreb. The author of the script and director was Rene Medvešek, and the music was composed by Matija and Čedo Antolić.
The concluding prayer section of the preliminary program was presided over by Bishop Valter Župan of Krk, the President of the Council of the Croatian Conference of Bishops for the Family, and included the renewal of marital vows, thanksgiving for children and the consecration of Croatian families to the Holy Family.
