Split, (IKA) – In honor of the first apostolic visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Croatia, the distinguished academic painter and director of the Gallery of Fine Arts in Split, Josip Botteri Dini, together with the poet and songwriter, Miljenko Galić, have published a folio of prints and poetry “Mystics and the Stars – Sacra conversazione.” A copy of the folio will be presented to Pope Benedict XVI in Zagreb. The publishers of this limited edition folio are the Franciscan monastery in Visovac and the new Zagreb gallery Laudato Corde. The folio consists of three masterly poems by Miljenko Galić (Visovac Notturno, In Anticipation of Christmas and Karol Wojtyla), paired with three exquisite silk-screen prints by Josip Botteri Dini (Night Horiyon over Visovac, Our Lady of Visovac and The Blessed John Paul II). The folio is the fourth joint project by these two artists and was printed by Emgra of Split.
