Parking at the Pleso Airport in Zagreb during the Pastoral Visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Croatia

Zagreb, (IKA) – On the occasion of the official visit by Pope Benedict XVI to the Republic of Croatia, a special parking regime will be organized for the Pleso Airport in Zagreb. From 5 a.m. on Friday, June 3, to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, it will not be possible to use the parking facilities of the Pleso Airport in Zagreb, as announced by papa.hr.
During this period, all travelers and other persons coming to the airport should use the bus service provided by Pleso Transport and can obtain the schedule at the website www.plesoprijevoz.hr.
If travelers still choose to drive their own vehicles to the Pleso Airport in Zagreb, they can park at the parking lot of the Gorica Soccer Club in Velika Gorica.
The route to the parking lot in Velika Gorica will be indicated by special signs marked “parking stadion” (stadium parking), which will be displayed at the entrance to the airport.
From the parking lot of the Gorica Soccer Club in Velika Gorica, continuous shuttle transportation will be organized to the Pleso Airport.
On June 4 and 5, air traffic will follow the regular schedule.
