Accreditation of Media Representatives for Coverage of the Apostolic Visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Croatia

The accreditation form can be found at the website http://obitelj.mup.hr/ and should be filled out no later than May 20, 2011.
Zagreb, (IKA) – Pope Benedict XVI will pay an Apostolic Visit to the Republic of Croatia on June 4 and 5, 2011, in Zagreb. Journalists, photographers and cameramen who will cover the Holy Father’s visit should become accredited at the website http://obitelj.mup.hr/. The accreditation form should be filled out no later than May 20, 2011.
When filling out the accreditation form for media representatives, in the space designated “Competent Institution” it is necessary to choose “Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia.”
Under “The Purpose of Accreditation,” it is necessary to indicate “Press,” the function of the accredited person (“journalist,” photographer,” “cameraman” etc.) and e-mail address.
When filling out the accreditation form for a means of transportation, under “Competent Institution,” it is necessary to chose “Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia.”
Media representatives may accredit outside broadcast (OB) vehicles only. For “Purpose of Vehicle,” it is necessary to enter “outside broadcast vehicle,” contact telephone and e-mail address.

Transfer will be provided from the Press Center to designated locations where media coverage will be organized, according to the space available.
A citizen of a country whose citizens are subject to a visa requirement to enter the Republic of Croatia should apply for a visa in timely manner at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the respective country. Visa fees shall be paid by the applicants.
