Cardinal Bozanić Expressed Condolences to the Church in Paris on the Occasion of the Death of Cardinal Lustiger

Zagreb, (IKA) – On the occasion of the death of the archbishop emeritus of Paris, Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, the president of the Croatian Conference of Bishops and archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip Bozanić, expressed condolences to the archbishop of Paris, the Most Reverend Andre Vingt-Trois.
“I remember that wise and magnanimous pastor with lively gratitude and feel profound admiration for the service to the Church performed by the late cardinal, especially for his valuable contribution to the formation of candidates for the priesthood and dialogue with the contemporary culture and society. His personal engagement in searching for new paths of evangelization and dialogue among religions was outstanding,” wrote Cardinal Bozanić in a letter of condolences to the Church in Paris and France, on his own behalf and on behalf of the entire Croatian Conference of Bishops.
