Osijek, (IKA) — Pope John Paul II, with the participation of Bishop Marin Srakic of Djakovo and Srijem and Bishop Antun Skvorcevic of Pozega, crowned two likenesses of Our Lady of Refuge, the votive statute of Our Lady of Refuge brought from Aljmas near Osijek in the Djakovo and Srijem Diocese and the painting of Our Lady of Refuge brought from Vocin in the Pozega Diocese. Each likeness of Our Lady of Refuge received two crowns, one for Our Lady and one for Jesus, and were carried to the altar by a procession of the faithful.
