Zagreb, April 11, 2003 (IKA) — The Government of the Republic of Croatia has expressed its gratification regarding the forthcoming apostolic visit by Pope John Paul II to Croatia from June 5 to 9, which was announced officially today by the Press Office of the Holy See. The Government Public Relations Office issued an announcement stating that the Government of the Republic of Croatia received an official announcement of the forthcoming visit by Pope John Paul II to Croatia via the Apostolic Nunciature in Croatia today, April 11. “The Government expresses its gratification that the Holy Father has accepted the invitation by the President of the Republic of Croatia and the President of the Government, and will welcome the Holy Father with joy,” says the Government statement.
