Zagreb, January 18, 2001 (IKA) — On January 17, Archbishop Josip Bozanić of Zagreb received members of the Jovan Bogoslov Choir from the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy (Diocese) of Šabac, led by the general vicar of the Episcope (Bishop) Lauretnije of Šabac, the Rev. Vladimir Stanomirović. During their conversation at the residence of the archbishop, mutual satisfaction was expressed concerning this encounter. The choir members performed several liturgical compositions for the archbishop. Then the guests from Šabac visited the Zagreb Cathedral.
On January 14, the Jovan Bogoslov Choir from Šabac was greeted by Pope John Paul II during their visit to Italy, where they visited Rome, Florence and Loreto.
