Monastery rocked by blasts

A Roman Catholic monastery at Kraljeva Sutjeska in central Bosnia was rocked by rifle grenade blasts

Kraljeva Sutjeska, April 8, 1997, (IKA) – A Roman Catholic monastery at Kraljeva Sutjeska in central Bosnia was rocked by rifle grenade blasts, according to information released on Sunday by the International Police Task Force stationed in Tuzla. Three explosions were reported at the Franciscan monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska, about 60km north of Sarajevo.
Father Superior Stjepan Duvnjak said that two rifle grenades fell in a garden and one hit the main building. No one was injured in the incident, whilst all windows were shattered.
Three children were killed and one injured on Sunday in a land mine explosion in the Sarajevo suburb of Ilijas according to SFOR sources. Police
are conducting an investigation into the tragic incident.
