You are the witness of the Church that has never stoped to confess the truth, and has not stoped to preach the love, forgiveness. Here, they had represented the just peace in which every man, regardless of nationality, confession,
politics, has right to be a man – protected, secure and free. That innocence of your Church, your believers, priests, friars and nuns, and refugees, is the greatest testimony in favor of Church#!s dignity, but also the strength of faith with which it is possible to go through everything g and to stay with love. You have stayed with love. Therefore, you are a gift with your suffering, your pastoral suffering, a gift to Church of Croats, a gift to Catholic Church.” Cardinal Kuharić said in his preach that it is necessary to achieve just peace for everyone, to stop the hatred and enmity, wishing that the world of justice, freedom and love begins to happen in the hearts of people and nations. Bishop Komarica, greeting the present believers, thanked to the citizens of Davor for the reception of 22 thousands of refugees from Banja Luka diocese. “Here, it is possible to prove that Christianity in Europe is not tired, it has not been fallen in lethargy. Let Europe come here, let it look at Davor, let it see the people serving to Go! We can say: We have won, the war is over, killing of men has been stopped, with God#!s help, we have succeeded not to kill anybody, not to begin the war with anybody. We have rather supported the injustice, then to do it to someone,” emphasized bishop Komarica, addressing to believers of Davor. “I am convinced that political representatives, as from this side, and from the other side of the river, will know to make appropriate evaluation of all what the citizens of this place had been done for peace, for respecting of dignity of every man and for the good neighbourhood relations and that they will encourage this friendship, that gentleness of friendship of two nations, Serbian and Croatian. The Holy Father and the Church are expecting the same of Croatian people, and of generous people. We are convinced that we have right to have generous people, who are fond of men, real humanists, for politicians, and we shall always encourage them to make more and more good things”, said bishop Komarica.
