Cardinal Bozanić Appointed to Participate as a Voting Member in the Twelfth Ordinnary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops

Rome, (IKA) – On September 6, the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops in Rome announced that Cardinal Josip Bozanić, archbishop and metropolitan of Zagreb, has been appointed to participate as a voting member in the Twelfth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, to be held in the Vatican from October 5 to 26. The theme of the Synod will be “The Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church.”
The Rev. Željko Tanjić, Ph.D., a professor of fundamental theology at the Faculty of Theology, University of Zagreb, was appointed as an expert, and Sr, Marija Ana Kustura, S.M.I., superior general of the Handmaidens of the Child Jesus, was named as an auditor at the Synod, announced the Press Office of the Croatian Conference of Bishops.
