Zagreb, (IKA) – On Saturday, September 5, the archbishop and metropolitan of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip Bozanić, received the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Adolfo Nicolás Pachón, S.J., on the occasion of his visit to the Croatian Province of the Society of Jesus and the 100th anniversary of its independence. During their long conversation, one of the topics was initiating the process for the beatification of Fr. Ante Gabrić, S.J., a missionary who died in India on October 20, 1988.
The superior general was accompanied by the Assistant of the Society of Jesus for Central and Eastern Europe, Fr. Adam Žak, the Provincial of the Croatian Province of the Society of Jesus, Fr. Ivan Koprek, and Fr. Ante Tustonjić.
