Zagreb, (IKA) — The Croatian Numismatic Bureau (Hrvatski novcarski zavod — HNZ) has issued three gold medallions and one silver medallion to commemorate the occasion of the third visit by Pope John Paul II to Croatia.
Pictures of the medallions and information about the artist, the academic sculptor Stjepan Divkovic, can be found on the web page www.hnz.hr. The medallions can be purchased in all the cities that the Pope will visit: Rijeka (Rijecka banka, Jadranski trg 3a), Zadar (Dalmatinska banka, Marka Oreskovica 3), Osijek (Partner banka, Trg Ante Starcevica 3), Dubrovnik (Dubrovacka banka, Put Republike 9), and also from HNZ in Zagreb (Trg bana J. Jelacica 11). In addition to individual medallions, sets of all three gold medallions in a leather case with an accompanying certificate can also be purchased.
