At the Twelfth Electronic Media Days, which began on November 5 in Zadar, Croatian Catholic Radio received the Croatian Radio Broadcasters' Award for the best website.
Besides Croatian Catholic Radio, the expert HURiN jury also presented awards to Rovinj FM and Radio Vinkovci.
“Our goal is evangelization, for which we have used all the available contents, media, which can help us in this area. We have a new media platform. What we have done during the past period has been recognized by the profession, which honored us with this award. We thank everyone who contributed to our success, first of all the staff and everyone who acknowledged our work, visibility and recognizability. I heartily congratulate everyone and thank them for their great efforts,” said the director of the Croatian Catholic Network, Msgr. Fabijan Svalina, upon receiving the award.
“Aware of the many possibilities of the new media, a year ago Croatian Catholic Radio began modernizing its website. Now our radio broadcasts or programs you may have missed can be easily listened to all over the world. Information is readily accessible about the programs, news, broadcasts and guests at Croatian Catholic Radio. Neither this award nor the high quality content on the Croatian Catholic Radio website would be possible without the dedication of our staff. This professional award from HURiN is confirmation of the quality of our work, but also obliges us to be even better,” said the editor-in-chief of the Croatian Catholic Network, Siniša Kovačić.
The Twelfth Electronic Media Days in Zadar began with the Assembly of the Croatian Radio Broadcasters’ Association, a meeting of the National Television Association and the presentation of the HURiN radio journalism awards. Every year HURiN presents awards for excellence and special recognition for the most distinguished radio professionals and programs.
