Deputy Prime Minister Stier Receives Nuncio D'Errico

Since the first day, the Holy See has firmly stood beside the Republic of Croatia, supported it on the path to independence and later on the Euro-Atlantic path, thereby making an immeasurable contribution to the realization of Croatian strategic goals.

Zagreb, (IKA) – On January 13, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Davor Ivo Stier, met in Zagreb with the Apostolic Nuncio in the Republic of Croatia, Archbishop Alessandro D’Errico.
The reason for the meeting was to thank the Holy See on the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the recognition of the Republic of Croatia, which took place on this date. Since the first day, the Holy See has firmly stood beside the Republic of Croatia, supported it on the path to independence and later on the Euro-Atlantic path, thereby making an immeasurable contribution to the realization of Croatian strategic goals. Minister Stier emphasized that the Republic of Croatia profoundly appreciates this support and the close friendship between the Croatian state and the Holy See, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
