Domagoj Pejic, journalist of Croatian Catholic Radio, who on April 17 set off on a pilgrimage from Zagreb to Rome on foot, reached Rome on at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, four days ahead of schedule.
Rome (IKA) – Domagoj Pejic, journalist of Croatian Catholic Radio, who on April 17 set off on a pilgrimage from Zagreb to Rome on foot within the framework of the project 1,000 Kilometers for the Pope, with the intention of congratulating the Holy Father on his 84th birthday and thanking him in the name of all Croatian Catholics for everything he has done for the Croatian people, reached Rome at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, four days ahead of schedule.
His trip through Slovenia and Italy went well, without any major difficulties and he is in excellent health. For the next few days, he will visit the pilgrim sites in the Eternal City. At the general audience on Wednesday, May 19, he will personally congratulate Pope John Paul II on his 84th birthday and deliver to him a gift from Croatian Catholic Radio and all the letters and cards that have been mailed to Croatian Catholic Radio or e-mailed to papa@hkr.hr.
