Internal News Broadcast in ZET Vehicles during the Visit by the Pope

The ZET Contact Center will be continuously available from 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. The operators will provide information to callers from a toll-free telephone number: 0800 200 060.

Zagreb, (IKA) – The Public Relations Office of ZET (Zagreb Electric Tram), has announced that prior to and during the Pope’s visit to Croatia, it will organize operations in a special way in order to provide pilgrims and media outlets with the most accurate and up-to-date information, primarily concerning city traffic conditions, as posted on its official website www.zet.hr. Passengers traveling these days on ZET vehicles will also hear this announcement over the loudspeaker.
The ZET Contact Center will be continuously available from 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. The operators will provide information to callers from a toll-free telephone number: 0800 200 060.
In all vehicles of public transportation, passengers will also be able to hear live broadcasts of useful information on traffic regulations, traffic conditions in areas where there will be a special traffic regime, and the routes that Pope Benedict XVI will take, together with information from reporters on the field. Passengers will also be able to listen to parts of Croatian Radio programs, particularly on Radio Sljeme. To accommodate pilgrims from other countries, service information will be available in Croatian and, as required, English, German and Italian.
Reporters on a specially equipped van will contribute to the internal news broadcast and send reports to interested press offices with attachments: audio files and photographs. Current information will also be available from the official ZET website, which will be constantly updated.
