Washington, (IKA) – On the occasion of International Ecumenical Prayer for Peace Day, March 18, a ceremony was held in Washington, D.C., at which eight Peace Awards were presented. One of the recipients was a member of the Croatian Salesian Province, Don Damir Stojić, who was conferred an award in the category of Prayer for His Nation. Don Damir was born in Canada and recently served in the position of the pastor of the Croatian Catholic Mission in Washington, D.C.
