Ministers of health visit bishop Franjo Komarica of Banja-Luka

Banja Luka, November 24, 1999, (IKA) — Yesterday, November 23, Bishop Franjo Komarica of Banja Luka received the minister of health of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Dr. Božo Ljubić, and the minister of health of the Government of the Republika Srpska, Dr. Željko Rodić.
The occasion for the visit by the delegation from the Ministry of Health of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, as Dr. Ljubić emphasized, “was to see what can be done for the Croats in that region in the future and to deliver a donation of money, medications and medical supplies.” The donation was presented to Bishop Komarica and the director of the Banja Luka branch of Caritas, Msgr. Miljenko Aničić.
Minister Rodić pointed out the important role that Caritas has played in providing health care during the war and at present, assisting thousands of people, “regardless of their religious or ethnic affiliations.”
Both ministers, the bishop and their entourages visited the newly renovated Caritas Clinic of the Banja Luka Diocese in the building of the Diocesan Ordinariate. The bishop expressed his gratitude to the two ministers for their visit and their work. He also thanked everyone who has contributed to the health care services provided by the Banja Luka Diocese branch of Caritas.
