On the occasion of Pope Benedict XVI's Forthcoming Visit to Croatia (June 4-5, 2011)

The bishops expressed their joy over the announced visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Zagreb, emphasizing that it is a visit to the entire Croatian nation in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and beyond, with the motto Together in Christ.

The new Bishop of Dubrovnik is Msgr. Mate Uzinić, a priest of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska and Rector of the Central Theological Seminary in Split

The upcoming visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Croatia was discussed.

The central event of the pastoral visit to the Republic of Croatia will be the celebration of the Eucharist on the occasion of the National Encounter of Croatian Catholic Families, to be led by the Holy Father on Sunday, June 5, at the Zagreb Hippodrome.
