A dual-language catechism, “On God’s Path. My Little Catechism,” in the Rome languages of Lovar and Bayah, published by the Committee of the Croatian Conference of Bishops for Pastoral Activity among Romes, prepared by the head of the Committee, S. Karolina Miljak, was hailed as a significant catechism as well as a publishing and cultural event.

The Croatian bishops discussed pastoral work among the young, Romes, persons deprived of their freedom, spiritual guidance in hospitals, Croatian Caritas, the proclamation of Holy Childhood Day, and the return of church registries of births, marriages and deaths that were illegally confiscated from the Catholic Church under communism.

"It is expected that candidates in the elections should be sensitive to national interests and national identity, and demonstrate particular concern for human dignity, respect for human life from natural conception to natural death, and the rights of every person, especially the weak and endangered," wrote the Croatian bishops in their message.
