Pilgrimage Map of the City of Zagreb
Zagreb
Zagreb, (IKA) – The Zagreb Tourist Board has printed a special map of the city for pilgrims who will be attending First National Encounter of Croatian Catholic Families. On this map, the places where the faithful will be meeting with Pope Benedict XVI are indicated: Ban Josip Jelačić Square, where on Saturday, June 4, the Pope will participate in a Prayer Vigil with young people; and the Zagreb Hippodrome, where there will be a celebration of the Mass on Sunday, June 5. The map also has the schedule of the Pope’s visit and is marked with the coat-of-arms of the Holy See and the logo of the Pope’s visit to Croatia, announced the Commission for Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of Zagreb.
The maps will be distributed at one of the information stands as part of the Youth Festival on Zrinjevac Park in Zagreb, where the young people will also receive a symbol of the city of Zagreb – a gingerbread heart – and can obtain information about activities for young people in other (arch)dioceses. An extensive and varied program in Zrinjevac Park has been prepared for young people by the Office of Youth Ministry of the Croatian Conference of Bishops, while the maps and gingerbread hearts are gifts from the Zagreb Tourist Board.
