Press Release from the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska
On the occasion of the Ultra Europe Festival, which will take place at the Poljud Stadium in Split, we shall open the doors of our churches for prayer and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and with open hearts will be present among the young people in order to bear witness to Christian hope.
Split, (IKA) – On July 14, the Press Office of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska issued the following press release:
“During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the local Church responds to Christ’s commandment to love one’s neighbor by demonstrating, through spiritual and physical acts of mercy, our closeness to all those in need. Therefore, on the occasion of the Ultra Europe Festival, which will take at the Poljud Stadium in Split, we shall open the doors of our churches for prayer and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and with open hearts will be present among the young people in order to bear witness to Christian hope.”
