Prime Minister Kosor Meets with Representatives of Caritas Croatia

Representatives of Caritas Croatia acquainted the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Croatia with the Thousand Joys Christmas Campaign, which will collect money for the poorest families in Croatia this year.
Zagreb, (IKA) – The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Jadranka Kosor, met today, November 24, with the head of Caritas Croatia, Ivan Milovčić; the deputy head of Caritas Croatia, Vice Batarelo, and Boris Peterlin, chairman of the Thousand Joys Christmas Campaign, announced the Public Relations Office of the Government of Croatia.
The representatives of Caritas Croatia acquainted Prime Minister Kosor with the Thousand Joys Christmas Campaign, which will collect money for the poorest families in Croatia this year. The campaign slogan is “Let There Be More Light.” A Christmas tree sale will be held at the Flower Square in Zagreb on December 12. The head of Caritas invited the Prime Minister to attend this year’s Christmas tree sale and she accepted.
Prime Minister Kosor said that the messages of encouraement and hope being sent by this campaign are truly important and praised efforts by Caritas Croatia to help those most in need.
