Rev. Marko Kovač was born on 10 January 1981 in Zagreb. He was baptized on 15 March 1981 in the parish church of St. Joseph in Zagreb’s Trešnjevka district, where he also received the sacrament of Confirmation on 7 October 1995.

He studied at the Archdiocesan Classical Gymnasium in Zagreb as an external student (1995–1999), graduating with his secondary-school diploma in 1999. That same year, he entered the Zagreb Major Seminary and began studying philosophy and theology at the Catholic Faculty of Theology of the University of Zagreb.

After two years of study, in 2001 he was sent to Rome, where he continued his formation at the Pontifical Gregorian University while residing at the Collegium Germanicum et Hungaricum. On 24 June 2004, he obtained his baccalaureate and subsequently returned to Croatia. He was ordained a deacon on 18 June 2005 and a priest on 17 June 2006.

From 2005 to 2006, Rev. Kovač served as a deacon in the Parish of St. Nicholas Tavelić in Zagreb–Kustošija and as a collaborator in the Secretariat for the Preparation of the Synod of the Archdiocese of Zagreb. He served as parish vicar from 2006 to 2010 in the Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows, Zagreb–Špansko; from 2010 to 2011 in the Parish of the Ascension of the Lord, Zagreb–Sloboština; and from 2011 to 2012 in the Parish of St. Peter in Zagreb.

From 2012 to 2015, he pursued postgraduate studies in canon law at the Faculty of Canon Law of St. Pius X in Venice. He served as Moderator of the Archbishop’s Curia from 2015 to 2017, and from 2015 to 2022 he worked as a pastoral associate in the Parish of St. Jerome in Zagreb. He has served as Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Affairs since 2017. In 2020, he served as temporary administrator of the Parish of St. Barbara in Zagreb. He has been Chancellor of the Archbishop’s Curia since 2021. From 2022 to 2023, he served as temporary administrator of the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Zagreb–Malešnica-Oranice; since 2023, he has served as a pastoral associate in the Parish of the Holy Family in Zagreb.

The Reverend Vlado Razum was born on 19 November 1960 in the Parish of St. Martin pod Okićem in the Archdiocese of Zagreb.

After completing primary school, Rev. Razum attended secondary school in Novi Zagreb and subsequently enrolled at the Faculty of Geodesy, graduating in 1985. During this period, his decision to pursue the priesthood matured, and he entered the Zagreb Major Seminary and began studying philosophy and theology at the Catholic Faculty of Theology, from which he graduated in 1992. He was ordained a deacon on 11 October 1992 and a priest on 27 June 1993.

Rev. Razum served as a deacon from 1992 to 1993 in the Parish of St. Peter in Zagreb. He served as parish vicar there from 1993 to 1997. From 1997 to 1998, he was administrator of the newly established Parish of St. Nicholas in Stenjevec. From 1998 to 2007, he served as Vice-Rector and formator at the Zagreb Major Seminary. From 1998 to 2002, he was responsible for the pastoral care of vocations and served as Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies for the Archdiocese of Zagreb.

From 2007 to 2013, he served as parish priest of the Parish of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Velika Gorica. From 2013 to 2021, he served as spiritual director at the Zagreb Major Seminary. From 2021 to 2024, he was Rector of the Corpus Domini Chapel in Zagreb and an external spiritual director at the aforementioned Zagreb Major Seminary.

Since 2024, he has served as Rector of the Zagreb Major Seminary, according to the official biographies submitted by the Apostolic Nunciature.
