Zagreb, (IKA) – On the occasion of the death of the Rev. (Don) Živko Kustić, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Josip Leko, sent condolences to the family of the deceased, the clergy and the faithful of the Eparchy of Križevci. “In sorrow over the death of Don Živko Kustić, I express my condolences on behalf of the Croatian Parliament and on my own behalf. His life and work testify to invincible faith in the truth, freedom and justice. In sharp and inspired polemics, he firmly defended and represented the spirit of religious freedom, tolerance, cooperation and general understanding among people, thereby contributing to the spread and reinforcement of democratic values in the Croatian society.
