The Conference titled "Blessed Aloysius Stepinac – a Testimony of Faith, Perseverance and Hope was held in the European Parliament on 21 March. The conference was organized by Croatian MEP Željana Zovko. Speakers included historians and representatives of the Church.
At the initiative of the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE) for a Mass to be celebrated in each diocese every day during Lent for the victims of the war in Ukraine and peace in that country, on Thursday, March 2, a Mass was celebrated at the headquarters of the Croatian Conference of Bishops in Zagreb, led by the Archbishop Coadjutor of Zagreb, Msgr. Dražen Kutleša.
The highlight of the Croatian Catholic Youth Encounter in Bjelovar was the celebration of the Mass on Saturday, September 17. The principal celebrant was Bishop Vjekoslav Huzjak of Bjelovar-Križevci.
On the Feast of St. James, July 25, 2022, the Catholic bishops of the Ecclesiastical Province of Zagreb sent an open letter to Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church about untruths regarding children housed at shelters in Jastrebarsko and Sisak during the Second World War, which we hereby present in its entirety:
