The Croatian representative in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina should be elected by the Croatian people, announced Cardinal Puljić.

Bishop Marko was a magnanimous and simple pastor. During his priestly and episcopal service, he endured various experiences in his pastoral mission, working tirelessly and constantly. He was always prepared to love and encourage, not forgetting anyone, pointed out Cardinal Bozanić.

At the meeting, there was discussion of cooperative activities that would promote the return and reintegration of Serbs in the county, peaceful coexistence and reconciliation between Croats and Serbs.

“My presence here today is a new token of the special historical ties, profound mutual respect and active desire for cooperation that have always bound the Holy See with this country,” emphasized Archbishop Lajolo, who said in his sermon: “Europe, who would like to ignore her own Christian roots, would ignore that which is great and good, and that which our ancestors received from the Christian faith and transmitted to us.”

“Besides concern for abandoned children and the elderly, charism encompasses concern for the poor, catechesis, missions and parents. In this way, it continues throughout life - as the culture of life,” emphasized Bishop Pozaić.
