Mrs. Acting Mayor,
On behalf of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Croatia, and on behalf of the Consular Corps and the International Organizations with headquarters in Zagreb, it is my privilege and honor to thank you for your invitation to this Reception. We are really pleased to present you today our best wishes for the recent Christmas holidays and the New Year. We wish you success in carrying out your duties and high responsibilities, for the sake of Zagreb and of all those people who live or visit it.

This traditional meeting gives us also the opportunity to extend our greetings to the distinguished personalities present here today, and especially to the members of the City Council and to your collaborators. Through you, we also extend our greetings to the Mayor, Mr. Milan Bandić, and to all the citizens of Zagreb.

On this important occasion, let us also express our deep gratitude for the constant attention of the Municipality Government to the needs of diplomats and their families. Once more we assure you that we will be happy to extend our sincere collaboration for the development of the City, and the prosperity and wealth of all the citizens of Zagreb.
