Caritas Croatia Issues an APPEAL for Assistance to the Earthquake Victims in Petrinja, Sisak and the Surrounding Area

The earthquake that devastated Petrinja, Sisak and the environs took human lives, injured many and left ruins, fear and uncertainty. At the end of a year that tested us, both as individuals and a society, once again we find ourselves in a situation when it is most important to provide support, show solidarity and provide concrete assistance.
In this demanding situation, Caritas Croatia appeals for charitable donations and solidarity with the victims in Petrinja, Sisak and the surroundings, and also thanks all those who have already generously offered to place themselves, their hospitality and material goods at the disposal of the victims.
Tomorrow Caritas Croatia will send monetary aid from the Intervention Fund to the account of Caritas of the Diocese of Sisak for the emergency care and needs of the victims. Beds, tents, blankets and sleeping bags have already been placed at the disposal of the diocesan Caritas.
